Broken glass in food is difficult, if not impossible, to detect. The government has regulations requiring protective lighting to ensure that broken glass from lamps can not come in contact with food, food equipment or food packaging. To adhere to these regulations, protect products, employees and customers from liability, only Shat-R-Shield plastic-coated, shatterproof lamps should be used.
Shat-R-Shield Lamps are UL and NSF certified, USDA approved & meet FDA, OSHA, the Canadian and Mexican Government regulations
